We explored how probiotics affect ear infections in a study using twenty-four male Wistar rats. The rats were divided into groups to receive probiotics at different times related to induced ear effusion.

The results showed that the healing rate of ear effusions improved significantly with probiotics. Particularly, those that received probiotics both before and after the effusion showed a 100% healing rate. This suggests that probiotics may help reduce inflammation and support recovery in cases of otitis media with effusion.

Therefore, probiotics could serve as a helpful complementary treatment for individuals at risk of these ear infections.

PS7 probiotic significantly reduces ear infections
We evaluated the effectiveness of the probiotic strain PS7 in preventing repeat ear infections, known as recurrent acute otitis media (rAOM), in children. In a trial involving 61 children, those who took the probiotic daily experienced a significant reduction in AOM episodes—an 84% decrease compared to the previous six months.

Our findings suggest that PS7 not only helps restore the middle ear microbiota but is also safe and effective in reducing ear infection frequency in young children.

Probiotics ineffective for ear infections
We explored whether probiotics could reduce ear infections in children prone to acute otitis media. In a robust study involving 309 children aged 10 months to 6 years, participants either took a daily probiotic or a placebo for 24 weeks.

Unfortunately, the results showed that probiotics did not significantly lower the rates of ear infections or the time they lasted. While there was a hint of fewer respiratory infections in the probiotic group, this needs more research to validate.

Overall, probiotics didn't deliver the hoped-for benefits regarding ear infections in these children.

Cleared persistent issues
Miracle cure. I don’t write reviews often, but I must share this. I struggled with BV and yeast infections for about three years. After trying various remedies without success, I discovered this product. Within two days, my issues cleared up entirely. I now enjoy intimate relationships without pH concerns. Seriously, look no further; this product worked wonders for me.

Totally effective product
Wasn't expecting GREATNESS. I rarely write reviews, but this product truly works. I suffered from BV and yeast infections after my period, linked to my birth control. My doctor prescribed awful-tasting medication that I disliked. After researching probiotics for feminine health, I found this product. After a month of use, I have yet to get an infection since starting. No itching or unpleasant odour! This product is fantastic; I highly recommend it.

Amazing. I am a 28-year-old female and for the last two years, I have struggled with my pH balance. I visited the gynaecologist multiple times yearly, with results typically showing bacterial vaginosis. I felt at my wits' end! I had tried various gels and pills prescribed by my doctor; everything would clear up for a few weeks but then return! A co-worker suggested a daily pill she took, and after trying it for three months, I have had no issues. I highly recommend anyone considering this to go for it!

Lactobacillus shows potential in CSOM
We aimed to explore how lactobacillus, a common probiotic, might help treat chronic suppurative otitis media (CSOM), a significant cause of hearing loss. Through a series of laboratory procedures including RNA sequencing and cellular tests, we looked at how lactobacillus could modulate inflammation in the ear.

While our findings indicated that lactobacillus has the potential to reduce inflammatory markers linked to CSOM, it’s important to note that the direct benefits on ear infection symptoms were not overwhelmingly significant.

Overall, we uncovered some insights into the mechanisms at play, hinting at a possible adjunct role of probiotics in ear health.

Lactobacillus shows antibacterial promise
This study evaluated how Lactobacillus acidophilus could impact bacteria causing ear infections. By examining its antibacterial activity alongside ciprofloxacin, we found interesting results.

Lactobacillus demonstrated a strong ability to combat certain pathogens, especially when combined with the antibiotic, although some combinations produced negative effects.

Overall, Lactobacillus acidophilus appears to have potential as a complementary treatment for managing ear infections, thanks to its antibacterial properties and ability to inhibit biofilm formation.

Supplement use improves ear conditions
We explored how a combination of immune-boosting supplements might help children with otitis media with effusion (OME). In a well-structured study involving 198 children, different groups received various treatment regimens over three months.

While results indicated these oral supplements improved middle ear conditions and enhanced immune responses, it’s important to note that the improvements were supportive, rather than a standalone solution. Our findings suggest these supplements could be a helpful addition to traditional treatment methods for recurrent ear infections in children.

Yeast free for months
Best to balance pH. If you’re suffering from recurring yeast infections, this is the solution! I had several last year due to stress and perimenopause, which I’d never experienced before. I found this product at a local store, tried it, and have been yeast infection free for six months. Now, as a Prime member, it arrives each month, ensuring I don’t miss a dose.

Maintained vaginal health
Best Investment. After treatment for BV, I began using this daily. I've not had BV or yeast infections since November 2022. It's such a relief. I'd rather use this than visit the gynaecologist three times a year. Thank you, Azo!
